errors on stats not showing up on log?

hi,

i have my log level set to info for all listeners and do get log messages on debian etch syslog when i set haproxy to debug so logging is working; however i keep getting resp errors that appear on the stats page that do not get logged. any ideas?

also, just to confirm the log levels are:

debug info notice warning err alert and emerg

in ascending order correct? in other words as you move from debug to emerge you get fewer messages of increasing serverity. unfortunately, it seems when set log to anything but debug, i get no messages.

i could really use some suggestions. thanks...gg
