Ok, I was too nervos! ^^ I was not root...
But then...
Haproxy didn't find my .cfg. There was no error, no error log. Generally it
was in /etc/haproxy.cfg. But with the /sbin/haproxy -command there came
this: parsing /etc/haproxy/ : no <listen> line.
And something else, so I copied the cfg to that directory and everything
works now :)
Good night :)

Hi all,
today I have updated haproxy but now anything works anymore! What can I do? This is the message:

but I'd like to start it again cause I think that it's a great feature. I'v
tested haproxy and it works well. But if you have a page with tons of
images, javascript and css it took some time till the browser has received
all objects, cause for a every request a new handshake is necessary. I can
see the effect on my apache. With enabled keepalive the pages are served in
less time than without keepalive.

I agree, keepalive would be a killer feature on haproxy :-)
Willy has already expressed some interest in implementing keep alive, but if memory serves me well, he had some stuff he wanted to finish first.
